That is demeaning and patronizing. That article insists that Hispanics are completely involved in the Sotomayor identity politics.

The ones I know aren’t.

It’s like Fox and MSNBC having Al Sharpton on for the “black” opinion on an issue. Made my black friends extremely angry.

I don’t totally disagree, but the trend has been to losing the Hispanic vote, and a frontal attack on Sotomayor would not help.
