Dana Gioia did a fantastic job as head of the NEA under GW Bush. Did you hear of even one NEA scandal or controversy during his tenure? We’re all the worse off since he resigned his position even though he could have stayed on for another year under Obama.

The National Endowment for the Arts is often confused with the real NEA - the National Education Association. I can attest that the NEA is doing a fantastic job of making sure we have gender equity in education!

I was recently given a grant to write a pamphlet to get middle school aged girls more interested in math.
