A question that someone asked in a chat, and which has popped up in my mind more than once (and no, it really isn’t pleasant to think about):
“Honestly I wonder how many people that just want CoViD-19 to rip through the population are supporting that for eugenics-based reasons.”

Last spring, there was a wave on Twitter about how “nature is healing, humans are the virus!” There have always been some ugly eugenicist talk underlying the platform. During the “straw ban” debate, several people suggested that “Mother Nature doesn’t care about the disabled!” and those people got likes.

I expected eugenics to have another wave with climate change; hard leftists are every bit as Darwinist as anyone on the right.
