I don’t think it’s about power, in that sense, when these mass shootings happen. I think it’s more along the lines of the endpoint of depression where a person has absolutely no ability to cope with their own demons, and decides that if they can’t be happy, then nobody else deserves to be. Weapons just give these people a much more efficient tool to carry out their plans to, in a sense, take as many people with them as possible.

Just my .02$ anyway.

But why would you want to take people with you if you are depressed, unless you want to go out in a ‘blaze of glory’? I suggest this isn’t a blaze of glory, it’s a blaze of utter fail.
