Nope- that’s not what the party is looking for. What the party is looking for is an icon, but without a foundation, we have nothing for an icon to stand on. And really- why would we want to follow what many think the left did in offering up an icon? If all the GOP wants to do is follow the playbook of the left it says to me we really have nothing to offer on our own.

A ghostwritten Sara Palin book is pretty symbolic of that. They aren’t trying to get her message out so much as market her as a product.
