Dowd is the lowest common denomination of crass cynical leftist thought wrapped up in a caste of cutting intellectualism. How cleverly and overly verbose can you be in saying ‘they don’t like Obama because he’s black/they’re racists?’

Isn’t it nice that so many on the right were willing to help Dowd promote this by calling Wilson a hero? Is she right? No. Is calling Wilson a hero right? No.

This is a little like creationists vs. militant atheists- both feed each other.
