Campaign rallies being deemed “private events” is a new low in America politics. Now Trump has normalized it by holding post-election “rallies” only for “his people”.

This is why you never elect malignant narcissists to anything.

I actually don’t have a problem with it. People can protest outside the event. I doubt that Bernie supporters that were interrupting an HRC event were allowed to stay.
