Local news says the guy couldn’t afford them, so he set them free before killing himself. Jack Hanna (Columbus zoo) said the property was a mess and someone was going to get killed.
Lions, tiger, wolves, baboons, etc.
Ohio has no laws or regulations against keeping wild animals.
