Yep. Nothing new here. Just that this time people are paying attention and seem to care. If he’d stuck to calling her a feminazi, he’d probably not be in this position. People seem depressingly willing to tolerate and even cheer that term.

I think the difference here is that his use of ‘Feminazis’ was general, applied to a subset of women.

This time, he singled out one woman - a law student, for God’s sake - and directly called her a slut and a prostitute.

There’s a big difference between the two situations. One is just an ugly generalization - the other is a direct, personal insult.
