And the thing is, “I was the one in charge” is rather a piss-poor excuse if you’re the guy who created the business. If it’s engaging in activities you don’t agree with, what’s to stop you from voicing that opinion? If Romney doesn’t agree with the outsourcing that Bain engaged in, the exploitation of local governments, and other practices that public has a negative view of, why does he just throw up the “I’m not running the show” excuse?
