See, that’s the hook. A woman can only get an abortion if she proves she was raped. How does she do that? File a police report, hope the DA prosecutes, go to court and hope the guy is found guilty. How long will that take? Oh yeah, sorry honey. You’re more than 20 weeks pregnant. Too late for an abortion.

That’s how I figure it’s going to go down: don’t put it on the books, but make it as complicated, expensive, and guilt-laden as possible to try to get an abortion after getting raped.
