It’s even worse, because the recording itself is totally uncontroversial. He wasn’t even saying he wanted to “redistribute wealth” (Marxism!). He was talking about redistributing government resources to better serve the community.

I know, this won’t stop them from still trying to claim it’s evidence of his secret commie nature, but sane people will never fall for it. Only the already deranged will give a shit.

IIRC, didn’t this recording come out in some form during the 2008 campaign? I could swear that there was some discussion of it here in the run-up to the election then, but I might be mistaken.
