There aren’t too many ranchers in a jury pool in Las Vegas. On top of that, the other ranchers in Nevada are pissed off at Bundy for his antics and not paying.

The fact remains that the BLM is widely disliked. I’d also point out it would be very difficult to prove that Bundy ordered sharpshooters into position, and it would also be hard to prove those sharpshooters actually had federal agents in their sights. The photos that were released wouldn’t prove the case, not against people with private lawyers.
