Exactly. If black people weren’t banned outright from suburbia, their presence in suburbia was enough to cause serious resentments and I think that’s something that lefties that romanticize the post war econmics ignore too.

I think that most of the MAGA crew are unaware of the extent to which their view that America isn’t great anymore is rooted in America not being as white anymore. This is why they say really racist shit without realizing how racist it is, like ‘Blacks are trapped on the Democratic plantation’.
