Same as it ever was. These atrocities are neither new nor indicative of social decline. Some folks like to point to these things and state that this is “The End”, and that such things were absent in previous generations. Not true. These things are certainly appalling, but are nothing new in the course of human events.

I do think we’re going to see some increased civil unrest as hopenchange takes effect.
