I see the article, but it doesn’t include military families.

Looking around, there are two sets of numbers: Active duty military families on food stamps, and food stamps being spent at the commissary. You just have to have been in the military to shop at the commissary. My husband has memories of driving to one in the years after his dad got out of the Air Force to shop because the prices are good.
