Phyllis Schlafly complains the Obama Administration is trying to culturally assimilate the people of Louisiana like the Borg or something by requiring FEMA info for the state’s flooding be issued in languages other than English:

Wonkette notes a bill introduced by Rep. Steve King (R-bigot) would have repealed an executive order standing for many years before the Obama Administration that requires FEMA information be issued in more languages than English. That bill went down in defeat with more than sixty Republicans voting against it along with the Democrats.

It’s Louisiana. Lots of French speakers there but I don’t expect an idiot like Phyillis realize that.
