Kennedy should have retired and convalesced at home. But as a
democrat he just cannot give up the power voluntarily. Hope he gets
well, but also hope he retires and stays home, you know to get well…

Just think, the prize that always alluded him - POTUS. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. But many Repub. Senators consistently speak warmly of him, acknowledging his legislative skills as top notch. Politics is a tough biz to be in, lots of downside - IMO.
