I was at my mom and step dad’s house when my step dad said he lost his phone. He thought he left it at my house. I told him to call the phone. He didn’t. He went to my house (30 mile round trip) and didn’t find it. He got back, I called the phone. It was in his truck. I don’t understand why people don’t listen to me.

My S-I-L is the type who asks a question, keeps talking while not listening to the answer, asks the question again and ignores the answer, and then suddenly gets upset because you won’t reply to her question. She is a frighteningly fascinating study in how someone can be so over-organized that life is complete chaos. Constant fluster mode since she is *always* in catch up mode since she leaves no slack time for contingency in her planning.
