Yep, it cost the former Congressman whose gubernatorial campaign I’m working for his seat but at least he didn’t run away from it.

The dumb thing is that there were god knows how many Dems to did run away from it, thinking it’d bolster their conservative creds if they were publicly seen as kneecaping and rejecting Obama.

They lost worst than those who didn’t run, because, fun fact, they got the shit hung around their necks regardless, because they had the (D). It’s almost like trying to cant rightward as a Dem doesn’t actually work very well if the voters just straight up want a Republican anyway.
