re: #335 Great White Snark

Is it not well established that rights are not absolute, in fact far from it? We can and do restrict individual rights given criminal behavior. Speech (threats online) gun ownership, even religious rights have limits. Why not the vote?

I have no problem with a felon losing the right to vote while incarcerated, or otherwise serving his or her sentence. But forever? For some? Then come the questions, which ones? For what crimes? Too much. They don’t lose their citizenship, why the right to vote?
