I agree with Daou. It’s easy for Bernie to say whatever the fuck he wants now (and the ‘white working class’ bit bothers the fuck out of me right now). Trying to dictate how a party conducts itself without actually belonging to said party smacks of gadfly-ism.

Let him join up and maybe people will take what he says seriously. Right now, it looks like he took advantage of Democrats being accommodating to him and letting him run as a Democrat, and now he’s backing away.

Fuck that. Get some skin in the game, Old Man. Otherwise, go back to Vermont and shut the fuck up.
