I thought it was my understanding that the Brits were all right at the chocolate game but terrible at the other food game. Though I won’t lie- I do enjoy fish and chips and a Newcastle from tie to time.

Britain successfully invaded some countries with good food, which has helped them some.

Food in Ireland has gotten a lot better. British food is still fairly awful, although they are improving as well.

Batter-fried fish is an imported dish, BTW. I think they invented the fried potato addition, though.
