Up on the old Bluff Street, now under a Duquesne parking lot. Lived next to Chartier’s Creek for while, near where it dumps into the Ohio at Neville Island. Nothing can kill me now.
Probably safer up there as compared to the industrial sites right along the river. The last place I worked in Pittsburgh was 40’ off the Mon in old LTV turf. I presume if you dug down 8-10’ past the remediation layer there would be lots of fun stuff there.
Digging in the backyard of where I used to live in Oakland would turn up all sorts of debris. Bricks, glass, and we even found an entire wooden door once.
