They can’t even critically assess their own ideas.

It’s like they tunnel in on one thing they like and their brain locks in on it and rejects everything else.

I have a younger brother like that. He’s brighter than I am, but can’t examine his own beliefs.

It’s like a friend of mine who tried to tell me that we didn’t need background checks because felons aren’t allowed to own guns.
