Wow. I’m asking why it has “merit to deserve success” (and I disagree with the premise that something deserves success just because it is successful), and at this point, I regret that I did.

If an auto mechanic thinks a car is a piece of junk, I don’t get angry with him for giving me his honest opinion, and I don’t demand that he revise it.
