You can buy pretty much all foods with an EBT card. No beer or smokes (but little quick marts do get around that) and no hot foods, although you can have a sub at say Publix made for you.

IMHO, soda is not food. Requiring healthy choices for subsidized food seems obvious. I’d love to hear a counter argument.
