Back in 2008, a lot of us knew that Obama’s election would bring racists crawling up out of their swamps and suburbs, but did anyone think it would be this bad?

No. It was hinted at during the Primary season, and to a greater extend the General campaign (see “I’m afraid of that Obama. He’s a Arab!”), but I thought it would calm down after he was elected. But it didn’t. It got worse, and as far as I can tell it’s only CONTINUED getting worse since.

It’s been very revealing, and what it has revealed is unsettling.
