What I find sad about Pam is as a Jewish woman she doesn’t seem to realize that the same tactics she and her allies use against Muslims are the same that were used against Jews throughout history. Really she’s just rewriting the old Anti-Semitic playbook that we saw in Russia at the turn of the 19th century but replacing Jew with Muslim. That’s her biggest tragedy. I don’t want to come off as if I am saying “She’s Jewish, she should know better” but really she is really engaging in some terrible shit.

She’s part of the problem not part of the solution—she just adds to the hatred, the same way bigoted, intolerant Muslim extremists do. Foley’s parents realized this and didn’t want their son’s image associated with it.

Kudos to them for that.
