I’m almost convinced that the bee in Trump’s bonnet is the same one that’s been there for weeks: This paranoid idea that the entire investigation into his Russian connections is a shadowy conspiracy initiated by Obama and carried out by his confederates in the intel community. That the goal is to destroy the legitimacy of his election by saying that he only won because of Russian interference. ….

Or it could be just classic deflection: to sidetrack any investigations into his actions and focus on others. Let’s have multiple investigations into Obama to avoid anything that might uncover his unsavory activities. The House will certainly cooperate with that objective, unless enough comes out to jeopardize their reelection next year.
