I have googled my name for years, and have never gotten a hit for something other than what I have written. About two months ago, I got a friend request for a guy with the same name, who was born in the state my wife is from, Arkansas, and now lives in a town in Louisiana with the same name as my oldest child. He has five kids and looks to be about 10 years younger. I have not accepted.

So I googled myself for the lark, and the first three pages all come up with stuff about me (including my bad video playing hammered dulcimer in Little Rock on YouTube).

A newspaper article also appeared about me and my wife just a few days ago which I was unaware of. Link behind the privacy bar (because it gives my real name). Now I know why that guy called me (though I didn’t know he would give up my info to a reporter - he was referencing a diary I wrote at Daily Kos though Kos was not mentioned in the article).
