Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) undercut his own stay-at-home order by exempting religious services from that necessary step to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Yes, DeSantis’ order is purposefully vague, and does exempt religious services:

Note that in the exemption he doesn’t even stress the social distancing, as he does with the also exempted “recreational services”.

It’s worse than that. If this is to be believed, he’s actually destroying far more effective local efforts by having the statewide order supersede all the local orders.
