Larry Brown has written some stories about raising rabbits for meat and having to stop because he kept on having to lie to the local kids who played with them and asked why so many of them disappeared.

That’s why hunted rabbit tastes the best of all. Pop it with a little #5 or #6, skin it, gut it, quarter it & pan fry in olive oil. Maybe a bit of salt, pepper & rosemary. Pure heaven on a plate.
