You’re talking about “Race to the Top,” aye? Yeah, it’s a joke, like a lot of education “programs” these days. It’s like how “Head Start” is in up to its eyeballs in accusations of fraud.

Well yes… “Race to the Top.” I’m not talking about the validity of the program… I’m talking about why our local teachers union won’t support Colorado’s bid for some money… because to get the money, the teachers and administrators have to be held to some standards that they have to meet…

The teachers union is always trying to buck any process that holds them to standards.
