I just can’t tell what point you’re trying to make. You seemed to be saying that people calling for border security was related to cartel violence. There really isn’t much of a connection to cartel violence and people objecting to immigration.

I think violence in Mexico and cartel violence will continue to be a trigger for calls for more border security. And a motivator to get out to the US. Right or wrong that’s gonna happen. Not the motivator, a motivator, along with poverty, opportunities here etc.
