Did he still end up voting for those extremists? Did he still vote McCain despite that “fatal cancer” on the ticket? Then all those words were pointless.

What was the alternative? Vote for Obama? He could no more have done that than I could have. McCain’s a good sort, and all else having been said, no way was I going to vote for Obama over him.
