I would respectfully disagree. I watched Maddow’s interview of Rand Paul, and she handled him with kid gloves.

If she is discussing a point of view she thinks is undeserving of respect you know how she feels, but she is at all times civil.

The quality of discourse on TV would be considerably heightened were the rest of them to emulate her.

yeah, I honestly could not see NOW she could have handled Rand Paul, or that guy from the Ugandan-stone-the-queers evangelical group, with any more politeness. Any more politeness and she would have just been unable to interview.
