For a person to be a true bigot I think they need to deeply believe in their views. The problem with calling Coulter a bigot may be that people doubt that her professed beliefs are honestly held.
It goes with her reputation for being in it strictly for the money.

Yea, but can you really let that stuff out of your mouth if you don’t have some kind of attachment to it? I mean, actors do it as a job, act in a film that doesn’t have to reflect their belief systems. She says it as a course of her “job” as a pundit of sorts (a pundit without a show) as a means of expressing her views, no? I’ve never read her books. Does she say these things in her books?
