I wonder if that’s the issue afterall. Even though we are taught that G-d lives within each of us, Whacko™ Christians seem to need to look WITHOUT for someONE to tell them how to think, believe and behave.

These are people who do not understand what religion is and means, which is why they are so obsessed with symbols and gestures, because that is something that they can get their little pea brains wrapped around.
