I do not share Glenn Beck’s optimism here. The GOP is a vast empire of evil, and large parts of that machinery will smoothly fall in line behind proto-fascist Donald Trump because his success would be their success, more or less. They could not possibly care less about the toxic nature of Trump’s campaign, especially since it is merely a down-market version of the same propaganda they have pushed for decades.
