Hell with some of my second great grandparents I don’t even know when they were born. And with one of them, I don’t know who he was.

The period of close generations in my family is now over. My sister has no children; I have one son born when I was twenty-eight. The same goes for my cousins; their children were all born when they were in their late twenties or early thirties.
