I’ve installed a couple and replaced the wax seals on others a few times. I can attest to how much they weigh. Oof!

Some DIY websites advise removing the tank first (if possible) to lighten the load.

We replaced ours last year. The plumber did the work, but I still had to help get them home from the store.
