If Trump insists on moving the GOP convention to somewhere other than NC, they’re going to have to find a venue that can and will host however many people, reserve appropriate hotel blocks (which I’ll grant might not be too tough right now) and get all the logistics in place in less than 12 weeks. I can’t wait to watch this.

I predict: They will not be able to get it done. Anywhere they try to move it, they’ll run into the same concerns.

There’s a reason nominating conventions are years in the planning. And Trump’s people can’t plan any further than the end of the news cycle.
