All this talk about Rapture reminded me about a joke…

A husband, on his deathbed asks his wife to put all the money and valuables on the cellar so he can picked them up on his way to Heaven. Sometime later, he dies.

About a month after the husband dies, the widow is cleaning the house, and decides to clean the cellar. Upon opening the cellar, she sees her husband’s money and valuables still in the same place, to which she said out loud: “Geez, I told him this should have gone to the basement. He wasn’t going up on his death.”

Uhh…that made absolutely no sense in english. I think perhaps he should have asked his wife to put his valuables in the “Attic” (the space between the ceiling and the roof).

The “cellar” is the same thing as the “basement” in American parlance.
