Ayup. There is some growing awareness of the fact that Christians’ general holier-than-thou attitude, rampant hypocrisy, and antiquated hyper-conservative “die on every hill” beliefs are actively driving away people who might otherwise be believers.

It’s part of the reason for me. Other part is just not knowing what’s out there. I’m more of an agnostic than out right atheist but I really do think yeah that drives a lot of people away. I think a lot of religions offer good messages and I think a lot of people do follow them but what drives me away is that, my scientific approach, and seeing the horrors done in the name of religion but I don’t automatically assume the worst about someone because they’re religious either.
