In all honesty the majority of the time it’s no big deal unless it happens to be a government construction site. It’s always the younger guys with stickers all over their hardhats that are the issue. During their union training they’re completely indoctrinated in the “us vs. them” mentality and they take it pretty seriously for awhile. Usually when it happens I’ll go to their boss and let him know his boy is causing trouble and they generally put a stop to it.

Did 5 years on a GE assembly line. If it’s not “us vs. them” it’s “me vs. them”. “Us” is better.
