Sanders followers are overwhelmingly young white males — poorly educated dudebros who have no idea what the civil rights movement was all about. That’s no excuse, but it is an explanation for why they engage in grotesque spectacles like that.

Those of us who were around during the civil rights battles of the ’60s and live in socialist countries find the dudebros completely clueless.
