Now I like and admire FDR, but that’s just nonsense.
FDR’s last two electoral wins were during WWII, which playe a MUCH larger part in those elections than social security.

I think the real point is that Social Security is a successful program that is untouchable, that is a feather in the cap of the Democratic brand, and the GOP would like for health care reform to be another feather.
