There used to be a mexican/Chinese drive-in restaurant in Payson Arizona named Pedro Wongs. That simply stemmed from a time when the town was too small to support an eintre Mexican restaurant and a Chinese one at the same time.
Although I hear that there are now a number of Mexican-Asian fusion restaurants these days.
There’s one in San Marcos, just up the road a ways from my new GHQ:
Japaniero - a Japanese steak and sushi place with a Mexican flair. Plenty of items from both types, a few interesting, if ill-advised, fusions, as well on the menu.
