YMMV on that; there’s plenty of cities and towns here in the US that run radar traps for “revenue enhancement”, usually in small towns and out in BFE, but larger cities do it too.

In Australia, we have privatised radars in some states, any car parked on the side of a road could contain a camera.

Not even a fighting chance…
